Setting Up a Gift List

How do I register my wedding details?

Book an appointment with one of our expert Gift Advisors at your nearest Menarys store or register your details online. All of our stores can set up a Gift List for you but we do have six Gift List Specialist Stores for that extra special treatment! These are located in Bangor, Lisburn, Limavady, Newry, Omagh and Cookstown

What is our login?

Log into your account using your chosen email address and chosen password. If you have forgotten either of these, contact orders@menarys.com. 

What do I do if I've forgotten my password?

Email orders@menarys.com with your name and date of wedding and we will reply with a temporary password. You can then change your password in your online account. 

How do we change our wedding registration details?

My Account Information can be found under My Account. Once you log in, you’ll be able to change and save your details here. 

How do we manage our list online?

When you log into My Account you’ll be able to view, amend and share your wedding list, check your account information, add to your address book, check your orders and change your password. 

Compiling Your Gift List

When should we compile our list?

You should create your wedding gift list 10-12 weeks before your wedding. This will give you time to make sure every invitation contains a card with your Menarys Wedding Gift List details before they are posted out (normally six weeks before your big day). 

How do we compile our list?

You can start your gift list in two ways; book an appointment with one of our expert Gift Advisors at your nearest Menarys store or register your details online. 

 

In store

All of our stores can set up a gift list for you but we do have six Gift List Specialist Stores for that extra special treatment! These are located in Bangor, Lisburn, Limavady, Newry, Omagh and Cookstown.  Appointments last approximately one hour during which our advisors will walk you around the store and help you compile your gift list. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what you need, we’ll make sure you have all the essentials covered! Once you have chosen your gifts, we’ll register your list online and show you how to manage your account. You will be able to use your online account to select additional online exclusives and add to or remove items already on your gift list. Your guests can then purchase gifts online or at their nearest Menarys store. 

 

Online

Creating a Menarys Wedding Gift List online could not be easier. Register your gift Llst in just five steps, then start selecting your gifts! You can share your gift list on social media or email it to friends and family before the big day. We’ll be on hand if you have any queries, just give us a call or send us an email. Your guests can then select and purchase gifts online or at their nearest Menarys store.

How many items should we add?

Our Gift List Advisors recommend that you add at least 80-100 items onto your list of varying value so that guests have greater choice when purchasing a gift. Don’t worry if your list starts to run low, you can add more items on at any time. We also recommend that you include a number of Gift Vouchers on your gift list as well. 

What if we need to add or remove items later on?

You can add to your list or remove items at any time. You can increase the quantity or remove items that are already on your gift list in the My Wedding List section under My Account. Browse through all of our departments to add additional items to your list and to view Online Exclusives that you won’t find in any of our stores. 

What are ‘online exclusives’?

These are special items that we exclusively stock online – you won’t find these exceptional products in any of our stores. They can only be purchased online and will be delivered to you on your chosen date after your wedding day. 

How do we view our list?

Once you log in, you can view your gift list at any time in the My Wedding List section under My Account. You can manage your list here, adding or removing items as you wish. 

How do we inform our guests that our gift list has been set up?

We will provide you with small cards that you can insert into your invitations. These contain your gift list details and instructions on where guests can make purchases. You can also send your list via email and share on social media with your friends and followers.  

Can prices of items change from when we first set it up?

The price of an item can change in the period between the opening and closing of a gift list. These changes will normally be in line with seasonal reductions in stores. 

Buying From a Gift List

How do our guests buy items?

After searching for your Gift List using your name or Gift List ID, guests will be shown all the items that are available to purchase including the quantity desired and the price. Once they select their chosen items and add them to their Shopping Basket, they can then make the purchase and select whether they want to collect their gift in their nearest available store or have it delivered directly to you.

How do we view which items have been purchased by guests?

You can check who has purchased which gifts from your list in the My Wedding List Orders section under My Account. The items purchased will have the names of the buyers listed against them. You will need to login to view this information.

Can our guests buy items from our list in store?

Yes guests can also buy from your gift list in any Menarys store. They just need to provide your name and wedding date. All wedding gifts are gift wrapped free of charge in store.

Can we buy items on our list?

Yes. If there are items remaining on your list after your wedding date, you can purchase them at a 10% discount. 

What happens if a product is no longer available?

In the unlikely event of an item on your list becoming unavailable we will contact you immediately to inform you that we have removed it from your gift list. We will endeavor to offer a replacement or if the item is just temporarily unavailable we will let you know when it is due to arrive.

Delivery & Returns

How will we receive our gifts?

Guests that buy their gift in store or use our Click & Collect service will take their gifts home and deliver to you at a time convenient to them. All other gifts will be available to collect at your nearest store after your wedding list is closed.

Can we return items from our gift list?

Yes, just bring them to your nearest Menarys store. We will replace or provide credit for any item returned in its original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The Wedding Gift List Advisor you start your list with in store will be your dedicated point of contact until the day your gifts are delivered so you will always have someone to call if you have any queries.
