Location: Saltmarine, Tamnamore Road, DUNGANNON

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, working across 5 days per week Monday to Friday

Job Description:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role involves a broad range of accounting duties, including invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting, and communication with suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

 

·       Entering and authorizing large volumes of invoices.

·       Accurate entry of Goods Inwards Notes.

·       Reconciliation of Supplier Statements.

·       Processing payments.

·       Managing the sales ledger, preparing and issuing invoices, entering receipts, and updating the system accordingly.

·       Preparing and emailing customer statements.

·       Preparing and issuing concession/consignment invoices on a weekly basis.

·       Reconciling sales data, preparing sales reports.

·       Bank reconciliations.

·       Month end reporting duties such as prepayments and accruals.

·       Extracting reports and submitting data for HMRC Intrastat and ROS Intrastat using relevant tools and templates.

·       Completing retail sales surveys for the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

·       Carrying out ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required to support the team such as answering telephone calls, taking messages, and responding to supplier and customer email

PERSON SPECIFICATION

·       Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role.

·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

·       Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

·       Good organizational and time management skills.

·       Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.

·       Familiarity with Intrastat and ROS reporting processes.
